What ever happened to the Kennedys, Roosevelts and Churchills of the past, why cant we find men of honor and integrity anymore? The only honorable among those three is Churchill. The Kennedy's were all glory seeking, spoiled rich snots, Roosevelt was a cripple, trying to give the impression of a strong leader. Had the morals of a bar room whore. And founded the Internal revenue service. Which by the way, has no mention in the Constitution. Churchill I love however. On a trip to America, one time he imbibed in too much Jack Daniels. At the White house, Elanor Roosevelt stated: "You sir, are woefully intoxicated". Winston replied,"You are quite right madam. I am indeed fully inebriated, but I will be sober, in the morning. However, madam President, you will be eternally ugly".

I don't think JFK belongs in the same category as Teddy, and yeah, FDR must have really sucked, eh? He must have done a pretty good impression to complately fake out the Gemans and the Japs in WWII. If they had only known the truth, they would have kept fighting, I suppose. He had to be worthy of an Academy award, seeing he is our only 4-term President.
JFK was a goddamned war hero, and his stand during the Cuban Missile Crisis proved him to be a man's man.....no *****footing around.
Lets face it, they were Democrats, so it would be sacrilegious for you to say anything good about them.
I think the theory is if the Republican Party can completely dissect every democrat that ever lived on a continuous basis, maybe the travesty known as GW Bush will be overlooked, or get lost in the shuffle.

CC their is good and bad in all past Presidents and they will have a moral statue to honor them and some of it will be good and some bad.But it does not matter what party they represent, the opposing party will find fault and guilt in what they do, but it usually takes time to be found true.
We now have a President that was elected on false premis of what he said he would do if he made office and is trying to make this country socialist with the help of Nancy and Reid by buying votes from thier fellow members with our tax dollars to pass bills in the senate and congress to pay off last hold outs on their votes.
You need to look up the 28 amendment in the Constitution then look in the mirror and don`t say what the fu*k is going on if you can put 2 + 2 together

First off smart ass, I'm a registered Republican, and I voted McCain, so why don't you do a little homework on me before you pass judgement, or just shut the eff up yourself. I also voted for GW, and for that, I am a fool.
It works both ways. The Dems jump all over the Republicans too. Its stupid, and is daily proof the whole system is antiquated. If an elected official had a legit plan for world peace and prosperity, those on the other side would fight it, cuz God forbid we work together on anything.
Everyone mentioned in Over30s original post had their strengths, and their flaws, but guess what? Thats right, two of them were Dems, and the extreme right wingers feel its their DUTY to piss on their graves.
If 30s post were about Nixon, Reagan, and Bush, the left side would have done the same.
As for the Constitution, you just said it right. AMENDMENTS!! Changes, additions, and alterations, because it was flawed, times called for changes. IMO, there will, and probably should be more amendments in the future...or are we that complacent?
You can have your opinion, and I'll have mine, but you can pound sand if you think I'm going to let you assume anything about me and talk down to me like I'm some illiterate crackhead.

The Constitution was not flawed in it's original form. A simple guideline, for a simple Government. To oversee the States(which should have more sovereign power)in times of crisis, or war. Things worked great until "King Franklin The First", used a time of civil fear to modify the Constitution, resulting in a bigger, stronger, all encompassing Government. And he didn't win the war. Eisenhower won Europe, and Chester Nimitz won the Pacific.

And they would have done this, no matter whose leadership they were under, right? Under different leadership, we might not have even fought the war in Europe. C'mon Grizz, give the guy credit for SOMETHING.
As for everything working great, how do you know? Were you there? He made changes, and guess what...the people supported it. I won't pretend to be more knowledgeable about the times than the people who actually lived through them.
..and the Constitution was written by humans, who have never gotten anything 100% right the first time, nor could they see the future. I don;t think any other country can touch our constitution, in its original, or present form.
