I have to ask you again Chris, how does the new Rincon compare to the previous one you owned. How did the FI and extra cc's translate into power, and how does the way the new power through the Torque Converter affect the handling? In ATV mags they always say the Rincon seems small in the big bore comparisons, but I find the power is in balance with the whole package to make it an enjoyable ride on the trails. What is your synopsis?

The power is definitely better, comes on smoother, and the throttle is very progressive, making it easier to control the amount of throttle apploed. Keep in mind I never thought the older 650cc plant was lacking. Engine breaking is definitely improved, which probably affects handling more than the added power. Coming down from high speeds for a sharp tun is a bit more manageable because of this.
General handling is similar to my first Rincon, but the tires are different. The Ohtsu tires on the 650 handled a bit better than the Dunlops on the new one, and they were lighter tires as well. The Rincon is dimesionally smaller than most of its big bore competition, but not by as much as you would be led to believe. I don;t gwt that whole thing. IMHO, the larger physical size of some of the big quads out there is an absolute detriment.
